After experimenting with the Google earth plugin, I have added a way of showing the EMMA mammal mapping data on a Google earth background. This works reasonably well, although the map symbols don't scale as you zoom the map. At the moment, only one species can be mapped at a time, but I could probably add more if anyone thought it would be useful.

Of course you will need the Google Earth plugin installed to use this function.

Welcome to the European mammals forum.
You can post messages here on any topic to do with European mammals and the website. Is there any feature you'd like to see or any way the site could be more helpful? Just let me know.

If we get posts on a variety of topics, I can split the forum into different sections
